Summary

You may need to create a new product that Solatech does not support. If there is a similar product already in the software, you can duplicate the existing product to create the new product.

More Information

1. Open Product Manager. (From the main menu, click Products>Product Manager.)
2. Select the product you want to duplicate.
3. From the Product Manager toolbar, click the Duplicate Selected Product button .
4. Enter the New Product Name.
5. Click in the New File Name field. The file name is automatically created using the product name. You may change the file name if so desired.
6. Click OK.
7. Once the product has been created, click Rebuild Product List to add the product in Product Manager.

Note: Duplicated products are not supported by Solatech and are automatically marked to not be updated with Product Installer. Changes made to the source product are NOT automatically applied to any duplicated product. Only the product name and file name can be specified using this utility - Style names, Option names, Option Values and Pricing cannot be changed without access to Product Designer (an additional cost module for most editions of Solatech Software).
