Summary
Individual users of Solatech Focus can connect their Focus account to a Google account (including Google Workspace accounts) for integration with Google Email and Calendar. This enables said user to schedule appointments that will be shown on their Google Calendar. Users may schedule appointments for themselves and other Focus users (who are also connected to a Google Calendar) on their Solatech Focus account.
The setup and scheduling process is the same for businesses a) using one community Google account for all users, and also for businesses b) where each user connects using their own Google account.
While an Account Administrator can connect their own Focus account to Google, the admin is not permitted to connect other users to Google. Each individual must connect their account from their own login at the user level.
Note: to follow these steps, you will need an existing Google Account with the domain @Gmail.com, (or Google Workspace account with your selected domain).
Instructions
1. To connect your Solatech Focus account to a Google Account, to to the Admin Tab.
2. Scroll down to the section entitled Google Integration.
3. Click on Sign in with Google. This will take you to a Google sign-in screen. Use the chosen Google Gmail address and password to sign in. To send meetings to your Google calendar, Solatech Focus will request several permissions. For full functionality, it is recommended that the user approve all permissions.
4. Google will email a notification of access granted, to your Gmail account.
