Online Order Processing (OOP) enables users of Solatech Focus to send purchase orders directly to vendors via Solatech Focus. This enables the user to configure, quote, sell and order treatments from a single user interface (UI).
As of August 2024, two versions of OOP are currently used in Focus and DOS systems, version 5 (V5) and V6. In short, both versions send orders from Focus to vendors, but v6 includes additional automation and efficiency. This Knowledge Base article will explain how to transition products from V5 to V6, when applicable.
The transition from v5 to v6 must first be enabled by Solatech. To begin this transition, email your request to Support@Solatech.com. Solatech support can enable specific vendors whose systems are compatible with OOP V6. Once you have received notification from Solatech Support, that the transition from V5 to V6 is enabled:
Login as the Site Admin and find the account for which you wish to update the OOP version. Go to Account, then click on Products, under the selected account.
Note “V5” under the OOP label in the blue header. Click on the pencil on the right-hand side.
Once Solatech has enabled the transition from v5 to v6, you will see a drop down under OOP. Use this dropdown menu to select v6. Next, click Update.
To verify the change was successful, scroll to the changed vendor. You should now see “V6” under the OOP banner.
