How to setup the new NOR-Norman Woodlore Shutter and NOR-Norman North America Shutter to be sent electronically

Summary

Solatech has recently added two new products to the Norman Window Fashions vendor. The new products are called NOR-Norman Woodlore Shutter and NOR-Norman Woodlore North America Shutter. Note that the shutters that can be sent electronically are singular (Shutter).These two new products can be found in the vendor Norman Window Fashions. If you do not see the new Shutter products, please reach out to Solatech or your DOS Site Admin for assistance adding those products to your account.

Just like adding any new product, an Account Administrator will need to setup discounts and margins and then disable the Norman products in the vendor Norman Window Fashions (PDF). The names of the products to be disabled are NOR-Norman Woodlore Shutters and NOR-Norman Woodlore North America Shutters. Note the "s" in the products to be disabled.

For clients who want to manually enter their shutter orders on Norman's site but send the rest of their order electronically, two features will need to be enabled: Optionally Sending Electronically and Split Purchase Orders. Please reach out to Solatech or your DOS Site Admin for assistance and training.

Setting up discounts

The new products in the vendor Norman Window Fashions are called NOR-Norman Woodlore Shutter and NOR-Norman Woodlore North American Shutter.  You will need to setup discounts. They  match the discounts that are on the current discount sheet for the products in the vendor Norman Window Fashions (PDF)
  1. We have attached a template for the product names and discount levels to this knowledge base article. You may use this as a reference.
  2. Do not delete any products off of the existing discount sheet - add the new ones to the sheet

Setting up margins

The newly assigned products will need to have margins assigned as well. These should match the products in the vendor Norman Window Fashions (PDF)

Disable the products in the vendor Norman Window Fashions (PDF)

Once the above steps are completed, you should disable the old products so they are not accidentally used by sales reps.
