When a company is opened you receive the following message:
Warning: Your database has reached the maximum size allowed. To prevent loss of data you cannot use this company database until it has been reduced in size. Please contact Solatech for information on how to archive your data.
Each time a company is opened the system checks the size of the database (disk space used). Once the size reaches the maximum, which is 4GB, it will start displaying this message. The reason is thata normal installation of the Solatech Window Covering Software cannot support databases larger that 4GB.
Once you start to receive this message the first thing that should be done is to run a cleanup of the company database. This is typically done every 60 to 90 days. Contact Solatech for assistance in shrinking the size of the database.
If after shrinking the database you still cannot open the database you should contact Solatech foradditional assistance.
