Solatech is pleased to announce the following updates to your account inside of Solatech Focus. These improvements are intended to make the world’s top window covering software even easier to use to close sales and grow your business.
1) Remove leader/trailing spaces when entering certain data.
To make transfer of some data fields easier between Solatech Focus and 3rd party applications, this change removes spaces that may have been inadvertently added at the beginning and/or end of data to be transferred. This applies to certain customer fields like first name or company name, site/account lists like terms and lead sources, and account QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration settings.
2) Change how a user confirms what they delete.
Formerly, a user would receive a prompt to click OK or Cancel when deleting a quote, sale or customer record. With the Aug 8 update, the user will be prompted to type data as a confirmation of what is to be deleted. For example, if deleting quote 3789, you will be prompted to type 3789 into a box.
3) Word wrapping enabled.
This feature enables word wrapping in the comments section. Words will no longer break in the middle of the word.
4) Vendor discount adjustments Test feature added to search the PO number instead of the PO ID.
After making changes to an adjustment within the Adjustments section, the Site Admin or Account Admin has a Test banner at the bottom of the Adjustments screens, in which to plug in a quote, sale or order number to see test the adjustment went through as expected.
5) PO status label added to the Order Review page under PO section.
When viewing an Order, the user will be able to see the PO status label on the order itself.
6) Now able to create duplicate names if the name exists in another account.
The Account Admin can enter a user with a names that exists on another site, so long as the name is unique on the current site. Formerly this was not allowed.
7) The customer’s email address is visible in the customer info section of the quote, sale and order review pages.
The customer’s email address will now be visible in the Customer Info box, located on the Quote, Sale or Order screens.
8) Vendor account number added to the POs generated by Focus.
The vendor account number will now be visible in POs generated by Focus
9) Sort POs more easily on the PO listing tab.
Under the POs tab, the most recent purchase orders will show
up at the top of the screen.
10) Improved performance for some customers via customer choice in Google calendar.
For customers who both a) have thousands of
customers in Solatech Focus, and b) use the Google calendar
integration, there was a lag when a user would open Google calendar to schedule
an appointment. With this enhancement, Focus will default to the open customer,
thus removing a potential performance issue. This applies only when using Google calendar from the customer review page.
