The total square foot and total linear foot is rounded when opening an order

Symptoms

When you open a saved quote or order the values displayed for the total square feet and total linear feet are not the same as when they are calculated while in Order Entry.

Cause

This is caused because currently SWCS saves the total square feet and total linear feet as whole numbers in the database.

Workaround

There is no known workaround at this time.

Status

This issue was fixed in version 4.2.334.

More Information

To re-create this issue:

  1. Create a new order.
  2. Select a product that has Width and Height.
  3. Enter 26 for the Width and 42 for the Height.
  4. Add the line to the order.
  5. The calculated total square feet and total linear feet will be 7.58 and 2.17 respectively.
  6. Save and Close the order.
  7. Open the saved order.
  8. The total square feet and total liner feet are now reported as 7 and 2 respectively.

Note: The total square feet and total linear feet are for reference only. They are not printed on output or used in any calculations.
