Solatech update May 2022 - list of all updates

Summary

On May 1st, 2022, Solatech released a major update which included many new features. Below is a comprehensive list to be used as a reference including hyperlinks to more detailed knowledgebase articles on specific items listed.

Updates

  1. Sales can now be sent to QuickBooks Online
  2. Costs can be changed on Quotes, Sales and Orders
  3. Costs can be changed on Purchase Orders
  4. Measurements can be retained when adding new line items
  5. A quote can be created from an existing sale or order
  6. When a line is duplicated, all options, including measurements, are retained
  7. Comments can be viewed on list pages via a pop up window
  8. An alternate description can be selected to be sent to QuickBooks online. This description does not include width or height
  9. The history on a quote, sale or order now records when an email is sent
  10. Terms and installer can be required items when creating a new customer
  11. Remarks added on the measure sheet can be added or ignored when adding a line to a quote
  12. When adding a website to company information, "https" is no longer required
  13. Dashboard now displays Average Margin
  14. New Dashboard chart, Customers Created without Sales or Orders
  15. Users can select a Bcc or Cc email address for each item sent from Solatech.
