Summary

Solatech Focus gives users the ability to easily reorder line items on a quote - even if those lines are not shown on the same page of the Quote Review screen.  This article describes the process of reordering line items.

Reordering items on the same page of a quote or sale

• Click on the line to be moved
  
• While holding down the left mouse button, drag the line item into the correct position
  
• Release the mouse
  

Reordering on different pages of a quote or sale

Note: when using this method, room locations must be filled in on every line item. 

• In the example below, we have added items for the room locations Master and Kid's Room on page 2 of the line items section of the Quote Review screen. We want to have these items shown in order on the quote.
  

• Click on the Room Location heading on page 1 until all of the lines for Master are shown on the screen
  
• Drag line 15 into the spot for line 5
  
  
• The Master  is now shown as line 5 on the quote
  
  

• Now, we will repeat the process to resolve the issue with the Kid's Room
  
• Click on the heading Room Location until all items in the Kid's Room are shown on the screen
  
• Drag the misplaced line into place
  
• Your line items are in the proper location
