How to override the cost on a line item
Summary
Solatech Focus users can now override the cost on a line item. This is especially helpful when using the Custom products in the system, which have no pricing associated with them by default. This knowledge base article will describe how to override cost on a line item.
Instructions
- Expand the More section, either in order entry or from the line items section of the quote
- Place a check mark to the left of Override
- Enter the cost in the text box
- The pricing will be recalculated, using the entered cost and margin for the product
- This cost will be applied to POs created when the quote is ordered.
Note: Any users who do not have the ability to view cost will not see this field.
