How to locate your Solatech ID and Change Password (Migration Customers)

Summary

SalesPRO uses a unique Solatech ID for every customer.  When the Solatech ID is initially created, the system generates a random password.  This article will describe how to find your existing Solatech ID in Solatech 4.2 and change the password (if needed)  This information is required to begin using SalesPRO.

Instructions

Step 1

  • Open your Solatech 4 software.
  • Select File>Preferences
  • On the Preferences window, click on Online Order Processing in the left hand column.
  • In the right hand column, you will see the email address that is used for your Solatech ID.
  • The password field will be hidden.


  • If you know your current password, then you can proceed to Step 2 after verifying the email address
  • If you do not know your password, click on the button Manage my Solatech ID
  • On the Your Account window, click on the link I want to change my password


  • On the Change my Password window, type a new password 
  • Type the new password in the confirm field. 
  • Press OK 
  • You will receive a message that your password has been changed
  • Press OK 
  • On the Your Account window, press Change
  • Press Cancel on the Preferences window
  • Go to File>Preferences
  • Select Online Order Processing
  • In the Account Setup Field, type in your new password
  • Press OK to exit and save your changes

Step 2

  • Open SalesPRO
  • Navigate to the Setup tab from the Home screen


  • Click on Company Setup


  • On the Company Setup window, Click on Setup your Solatech ID


  • On the Application Settings window, enter the email address and password that you identified in Step 1
  • Press OK to save and exit
