How to enable an extra line to show total customer savings on process reports

Summary

Begging with SalesPRO version 5.0.227, users have the ability to add an extra line to show customers the total savings on the quote or sale.  This article will describe how to setup and maintain this field.

Instructions

  • From within the software, navigate to the Setup tab and select the Process Reports icon.
  • Select a report to modify by clicking on it once, then click the Modify button.
  • Select the Totals tab.
  • Select the Other tab.
  • Place a check mark to the left of Show the You Saved line.
  • Place a check mark next to any of the other discount items you wish to have included in the total.
  • The text field reads You Saved by default but can be changed to any text of your choice. In the example below, the text has been changed to Your Total Savings Today

Note: Do not remove the {0}


  • If you would like to personalize the look of the You Saved field, click on the Change button
  • This will allow you to change text color, alignment and add a border
  • Press OK 
  • Press OK again to exit and save your changes 
  • Below is an example of the You Saved Line on an order confirmation
