How to Change the Customer on a Quote or Sale
Summary
A user may user Quick Quote on the Home page of Solatech Focus to experiment with a configuration or pricing. In some case the user may want to assign this quote to a customer. This article shows how to do that.
In the box below, we see quote # 4175600, created under the House Account, noted below in the red rectangle. The Quick Quote button (on the Home Page) will always quote under this hypothetical account. To move this quote to an actual customer,
1) Click the change button, encompassed in green.
2) Select the customer to whom you wish to assign this quote.
3) Now your customer is changed and you can move forward with the the sale and order as you wish.
NOTE: Re-naming the House Account to that of an actual customer will result in all new quotes under from Quick Quote being assigned to that customer.
