How to add a New Window to a Measure Sheet


How to add a new window measurement

This guide provides a step-by-step process for adding a new window measurement under the Customer page. This step is necessary prior to quoting a job.

  1. Login to Solatech

  1. Click "Customers" if the Customer cannot be found on the Dashboard

  1. Using the filters or search, lookup and select the Customer name

  1. Scroll to "Measure Sheets" and click to expand

  1. Click "+New" on the Measure Sheets blue line

  1. Choose from the dropdown or type in a new "Location"

  1. Choose from the dropdown or type in a new "Room"

  1. Choose from the dropdown or type in a new "Item"

  1. Choose from the dropdown or type in a new "Mount"

  1. Click the "Width" field to type in the width of the window treatment measurement

  1. Click the "Height" field to type in the height of the window treatment measurement

  1. If necessary, click the "Remarks" field to add comments to the window location. [[fractions within the parameters of the products, and decimals]]

Tip! The system allows fractions (to an 1/8" or 1/16" product depending) or decimals

  1. If using a Solatech Leice laser measure, click the checkbox "Add measurements automatically" field - when clicking "add" the measurements will automatically populate in the "width" and "height" field

  1. Click "Add" if finished
