Symptoms

When you try to create a new company in the Solatech Window Covering Software, after running the software with the correct user privileges, you see the following error message:

The new company could not be created (2739)

Cause

This can be caused if any part of the path to the company folder contains a single quote character ( ' ).

Resolution

Rename the folder(s) to remove the single quote ( ' ) from the folder names.

Status

Solatech has confirmed this to be a problem with the Solatech Window Covering Software. As more information becomes available this article will be updated.
