When you try to create a new company in the Solatech Window Covering Software you see the following error message:
The new company could not be created (2739)
This is caused when the Solatech Window Covering Software is run without Administrative privileges.
Run the Solatech Window Covering Software with Administrative privileges. To do this, right-click on the shortcut for the software and select Run as Administrator. Depending on how your organization is setup you may be required to enter an administrator password. Contact your systems administrator if this occurs.
Solatech has confirmed this to be a problem with the Solatech Window Covering Software. As more information becomes available this article will be updated.
Currently administrative privileges are required to create companies (databases) with the Solatech Window Covering Software on Windows Vista. This is due to Vista's User Access Control system. Administrative privileges are not required for normal operation of the software.
This problem does not occur on Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
