Creating Terms and Conditions in Solatech System

This guide will anyone looking to effectively create and/or manage Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) within Solatech Focus 2. It provides a straightforward, step-by-step process that simplifies the setup, ensuring compliance and clarity in your documentation. By following these instructions, users can efficiently paste T&Cs into Focus 2, and attach them to the desired process reports they intend to share with customers.


  1. Starting from the dashboard, click the gear in the upper right-hand corner.

  1. Click "Account administration

  1. Under Output on the left side, click "Terms and conditions" (T&Cs)

  1. To add terms & conditions for the first time, click "New terms and conditions". 

    Note: If you already have terms and conditions inside Focus 2 and wish to add them to a process report, skip to step #8 in on this page.

  1. Click the "Name" field to name your T&Cs. You may have multiple sets or versions of T&Cs for any reason. For example, one set for residential customers with a separate one for commercial.
    For this example, we'll name our T&Cs "Terms & Conditions v01"

  1. Click here to paste the wording of your T&Cs. Once pasted, the user can format the wording as desired and even include bullets points, for example.

  1. Be sure to click "Save" once your T&Cs are pasted and complete.
    Pro Tip: double check spelling and grammar.

  1. Just a few more clicks to go...
    Now we are ready to attach the T&Cs the process reports of you choice. Next, click "Process reports"

  1. Click here to choose which set of T&Cs will be attached to this process report.
    Note: your account can have multiple T&Cs. The user can edit, update or change T&Cs at any time, but the user may only attach one per process report.
    Pro Tip: In lieu of T&Cs, some dealers may post installation instructions on the installation for installers.

  1. Choose the T&Cs you wish to add to this process report. In this example we'll click "Terms & Conditions v01"

  1. Click "Save" once you have chosen the T&Cs you with to attach to this process report.

  1. Add T&Cs to one process report at a time. If you with to add T&Cs to another process report, click the pencil for that report and follow the steps. 8-11.

  1. The addition of T&Cs to the process report is complete. To test the T&Cs, click on "Quotes".

  1. Choose a quote to open. For this example we'll choose quote #7.

  1. Click "Preview" or "Sign" to see the process report with your newly added T&Cs. Below we will click "Sign"
    Click the appropriate process report.

  1. The user should see the T&Cs located below Total Price, and above the signature field.
