Changing the unit of Measurement on the Leica D3aBT Laser

This article will describe how to change the increment of measure on your Leica D3aBT Bluetooth laser.

Instructions

Changing Unit of Measure

  •          Turn on the laser
  •         Hold the Menu button down until you see the word “unit” appear in the display
  •         Use the “+” OR “-“ buttons to scroll through measurements 
  •         When you see the increment of measurement you want (1/8”), then hold the menu button again until you hear a beep (indicating the your changes have been saved) .  If you cannot find the 1/8” increment, proceed to step 2

Resetting the device if you cannot find the correct unit of measurement 

  •        Turn on the laser
  •        Hold down the Menu button until you see the word “unit” appearin the display
  •        Hold down both the Clear/Off button and the “+” button at the sametime for 10 seconds until you hear a beep
  •         Use the “+” or “-“ buttons to scroll through measurements. If you still do not see the 1/8” increment, repeat the process
